Dreamlife EB-5 - a different EB-5 company!

Thousands of immigrant investors seek their permanent residency in the United States through the EB-5 program every year.  While the program has never maxed out the available number of Green Cards (set at 10,000), the popularity of the program is growing steadily.  More than 1000 applications were recieved in the first quarter of 2011 alone!

But a key question has to be asked - why has the 10,000 level never been reached?  Even at the rapid pace announced by USCIS, EB-5 Green Cards will still fall well short of the maximum level in 2011.

Is it because the program is unknown and underdeveloped?  Perhaps.

Is it because of the economic downturn in the US?  No, as levels of participation have been growing since the mid-2000s, and the number of regional centers with it.

Is it because EB-5 regional centers aren't meeting expectations regarding transparency and accountability, thus scaring away potential clients?  This might be an avenue to explore.

Over the past several years, the number of regional centers has sky-rocketed, from under 40 to over 150.  How can one know if these projects are legitimate?  How can one know if their investments will be well taken care of?  How can one know if they will meet USCIS requirements for job creation, and thus get their permanent residency?

This blog will delve into the realm of the EB-5 program, its ins and its outs, to help the immigrant investor make the right choice when looking to invest in the US in order to recieve their Green Card for themselves and their families.

It's their American Dream - let's make sure that it is safe and secure!

Cheers!
